其实我只是个爱好者，想把这个文化发扬光大，现在就面临着京剧也不太
景气，年轻人也不太理解。所以说，怎么发展，也只能慢慢地用个人能力尽力而为。
格法：对对对。
格法：中国人呢，他一般的还得生存。他生存不了，就把这个东西进去也扔了；外国人呢，他如果精神到了，他喜欢，这就不一样。所以为什么说一个市场，有外国人，让外国人能感兴趣，这个艺术会有市场。其实他们做的这个旅游的市场对艺术不好，因为外国人一般看的戏，都不了解，就是了解的太少，他走了，他认为这就是京剧，看过，第二次你要带他去，他就不去，他说我看过我看过。你根本不懂，他说我懂我懂，我知道、我看过，他不相信了，不相信。为什么？第一次给他介绍的，第一次的印象是个很吵闹的。
格法：十年以前，我开始在北京的一些大使馆饭店，人家请我讲讲课，我知道的不多。其实我知道的，也有几年的研究，我知道的反正比别的外国人多得多，而且我很流利可以和他们沟通，我不用通过一个翻译。这个翻译，老拿一个字典，你这些字，中国古老的这些字，在字典里面你找不着。翻译出来的东西跟这个不一样，不一样。
女老师：意思有时候还会变呢。
格法：所以我一直动脑子，怎么，有多年了，看很多戏，和老师聊，跟艺术家聊，还有我知道英国人的文化，用什么办法让他们理解、让他们明白。很快，你就很准确也很快，他就明白了，他还要想知道。
12月7日，演出当天，为了引起外国观众的兴趣，格法在演出的开始有一场独特的讲课。
