另外，1980年1月25日发行京剧脸谱邮票一套八枚。这套邮票原设计和印刷于上世纪60年代中期，准备于1964年发行，但当时正值推广京剧现代戏，未能发行，所以市场价格比较高。
专家建议：除了关注这些有特殊收藏价值的珍品，一般的收藏爱好者可以从简单的系列上手，如之前发行的《京剧旦角》、《京剧丑角》，包括次此发行的《京剧生角》就可以作为“生旦净丑”专题收藏。
脸谱收藏：量大价格高

脸谱是戏曲最直观的一种形象表达，文化气息非常浓厚，最重要的是，它仍然是一种不断创新的艺术形式。
黄殿祺（原任天津戏剧博物馆馆长，从事戏剧美术实践与研究四十余年，现为天津市艺术研究所研究员、中国戏剧家协会会员、中国戏剧家协会天津分会理事、中国工艺美术学会民间工艺美术专业委员会委员。）告诉记者，他自己一开始就是画脸谱，后来搞起了收藏。他在2000年荣获“大世界吉尼斯之最”，戏曲脸谱最多收集了2600种（个）。
黄介绍，在戏曲脸谱收藏中，京剧有200年的历史，是收藏的一个大类，其种类大概不到千种，而除了京剧，我们国家有360种戏剧，每个剧种又有很多流派，所以内容非常丰富。
专家建议：由于脸谱本身极大丰富，所以收藏应该越多越好，形成丰富种类之后，这样的收藏以小见大，能从这样一个小巧的艺术形式，反映出剧种或者这种文化形式，甚至是社会的变迁。从市场价值上来看，它的价值肯定是要升的，而且不少国外的爱好者很喜欢这一形式。
戏曲史料：应注重系列收藏
