应加大财力来支持中国民间文化保护这项工程。这是关系到民族自尊、民族文化传统的大事，有些非物质文化遗产应抢救，作为史料保存，有些应传承、留传，这些都需要财力的支持。因此应以财政投入为主，多渠道、多方式筹集非物质文化遗产保护工作经费，可通过政策引导等措施，鼓励个人、企业和社会团体对非物质文化遗产保护工作进行资助。”
挖掘潜力 提供舞台
文化是一个地方的名片。我们已经看到了云南石林因“阿诗玛”而名扬四海，广西桂林因“刘三姐”而蜚声中外。一段纳西古乐弹拨得世人心旌摇荡，这就是民族民间文化的魅力，这也是民族文化创新的成果。同时这也为四川民族民间文化的发展和走向树立了典范。
怎样让四川的民族民间文化从“默默无闻”走向“世人皆知”呢？省政协常委陈华国建议：“应加强宣传引导，提高全民对非物质文化遗产和保护工作重要性的认识，增强全社会的保护意识。”他举例说，如目前绵竹的年画受到了德阳市委、市政府的高度重视，把年画与当地旅游和新农村建设结合起来，起到了很好的效果。
四川省社会科学院吴作萍研究员在接受记者采访时说：“应坚持对内挖掘民族文化潜力，对外开拓民族文化市场，倾力打造民族文化品牌，将民族民间文化的发展逐步推向产业化道路。政府一方面要为保护民族民间文化艺人和传人，保护原汁原味的民风民俗，保护民间藏品和艺术品的不再流失制定措施，落实政策，拟定规划；要设立机构，集思广益，不断地探索和研究，寻求发展的出路。另一方面要通过政府出资、企业赞助等各种形式筹集资金，为民族民间文化举办展览，开展活动，举行学术交流和成果展示。为民族民间文化的发展提供展示的空间和表演的舞台，让”土“文化走上大舞台，走向大世界。”
三星堆文化璀璨夺目，神奇迷人；火把节充满诗情画意，让人流连忘返；藏羌碉楼比肩欧洲古堡，让人为之倾倒……我省各个民族丰富神秘的文化是中国文化的重要组成部分，并受到越来越多的关注。如何保护和弘扬民族民间文化，已成为我省社会主义精神文明和社会主义新文化建设的重要课题。
