王赐训，最后一个阳腔目连戏传人。上周末，冒着秋雨，来到高淳县砖墙镇洪户村的王家，已经苦心寻找目连戏艺人20余载的高淳县前文化局长汪士延激动到几乎落泪，“大海捞针般地寻找，希望渺茫地探询，没想到在这样的一个水乡村落，还有这样一座小房子，里面有这样一个会唱目连戏的人！”
20多年时间，从壮年到白头，一次次经历希望和失望，汪士延寻找目连戏传人的过程曲曲折折，柳暗花明。
20年前曾有6名传人
1986年，应上级主管部门的要求，汪士延所在的高淳县文化局开始收集整理“中国民间十大文艺集成”，对散落民间的一些文艺形式进行排队普查，其中“阳腔目连戏”是重点普查对象。
汪士延回忆，那个时候，全县还有23个乡镇，他发动所有的文化站长一起搜集。各个乡镇当时都有演唱目连戏的记载，但是由于建国后，目连戏的演出戛然停止，传人已经寥寥。
当时，普查重点是凤山乡（现古柏镇）的东村，在那里找到了目连戏班的正宗传人——韩体钧、刘功茂等6名艺人。汪士延记得，韩体钧等人都是当年省戏校目连班的辅导老师，他们师承凤山彰教寺的超伦师父，传承关系可以追溯到清道光年间。
找到韩体钧等6人后，汪士延等人在全县继续寻找，但是没有发现新的线索。
上世纪末宣告绝迹
汪士延发现韩体钧等人的时候，他们都已经是70多岁的高龄了，上世纪90年代的时候，这些老艺人相继辞世，高淳的阳腔目连戏也在上世纪末正式宣告绝迹。
