年近70已早知天命的时候，能再做事情觉得很满足，因为我的事业从40岁才刚刚起步。我们这代人很特殊，所以我珍惜我的健康。”

　　临分手时，陈薪伊说明年要学开车，到70岁就可以开车出去玩了，这不是句玩笑。陈薪伊自称是个爱动的人，喜欢远足：排《梅兰芳》，要到梅兰芳香山的墓地看看；排《安徒生童话》要到丹麦哥本哈根看看，是什么样的土壤产生了这样的灵魂？而陈薪伊的土壤是广阔的，眼界更是开阔的。她祖籍安徽，长在陕西，上学在北京，现在定居上海，但很少在家，经常出国，经常到全国各地排戏。她喜欢逛街，穿好看时髦的衣服，“颜色不搭配顺溜，我不出门。”喜欢吃好东西，喜欢茶，喜欢交友谈天。她的时髦是由内而外的，不是刻意追求年轻，却好像是年轻追着她。

　　她有一句名言：交高人，读好书，看经典。
